Martin Stewart Interview
Martin is from the greater Los Angeles Area. He plays guitar in Terror and Donnybrook!. He also sings in LION, and played in RJ's and The Wrong Side. I forget when I first met him but he has been a good friend. Coming to So. Cal. for gigs is always great when he is around. On my first full U.S. tour with Verse and HH we stayed at his house and he hung at all the Cali gigs. Those were some good times. Oh yeah, dude has a hard mosh too. Can't wait till the new Terror record comes out and I can't wait to see them on tour again. I always do a couple dives and shit.
1. How's things? Eat any good food?
Things are great. I reside in the state of Massachusetts for this month. I'm always eating good food. I'm a food connoisseur. I had to type that word into dictionary.com to make sure I spelled it right. But yea, I'm really into Thai food and Korean BBQ right now. Both are excellent for stuffing yourself to the brink of explosion. Oh, and wings always.
2. What Leeway record do you enjoy more, Desperate Measures or Born to Expire? Why?
I'm gonna go ahead and say Open Mouth Kiss. "Foot The Bill" is easily my favorite Leeway song.
3. What do you do in your free time that has little or nothing to do with music?
I go snowboarding, wakeboarding, to the gym...typical jock stuff. I like to read and play guitar hero too. I also watch a lot of DVD's, Nat Geo, History, Discovery and Animal Planet. Most of all, I pet my cats.
4. What's your favorite song to play live?
Merauder "Life Is Pain" during soundcheck.
5. Did / Do you have a T-shirt that you really like the fit? If so, explain.
Pro Club plain tall t's. They have THE best fit out of any T ever and even though they're labeled "tall" it's not really a tall T soulja boy style. Tight thick collars is where it's at. I wish I could bootleg every band t-shirt I own onto pro clubs.
6. Any final thoughts?
I noticed that in your email the signature read something like "sent via blackberry". I think you need to man up and get an iPhone. Just saying.
