Me, me, me.

Am I popular in the blog world? Probably not, but I have a lot of friends that manage blogs and we all seem to like to interview each other. It makes for good fun and good reads. So here's another interview of me that was done by my fellow road warrior and hard pitter extraordinaire Mr. Charles Straight Edge of the What Chedge Wears blog.

Martin Stewart Interview

Martin plays guitar in Donnybrook, bass in Piece By Piece and Lone Wolf, sings in LION, and plays guitar in Terror. He took time out of his days of watching whole series of tv shows and designing shirts to come at us with some updates and thoughts. Thanks again for the interview, and see you soon man.

1. give us a life update, hows things?

- Things are marvelous. As much as I love being on the road traveling the world, I equally love lounging at home in the beautiful Southern California. I've been eating good Mexican food on the daily and I just started watching season 1 of the infamous Lost T.V. series. I also witnessed a $karhead gig take place this week. What an event.

2. whats your favorite hatebreed song?

- I'm gonna have to go with "Severed" off of the "Under The Knife" EP released on Smorgasbord Records in 1996. That track is 2:40 of pure hard pit supremacy. I remember seeing Hatebreed in '97 right after "Satisfaction..." came out and that song definitely received a 5 out of 5 spin-kick rating for the pitting that took place.

3. reunions in hardcore, thoughts and opinion?

- I was a little bit excited when I heard about the Disembodied reunion coming up but then I thought about it and realized that I already saw them in their prime and I didn't really want to see them again and end up disappointed. There's so many different factors when it comes to something like the reunion of a hardcore band that can change my personal opinion. For the most part I think it's corny when a band decides to make a quick pointless comeback just to either make some quick cash or re-live some old fantasy, but sometimes there's a good reason when it's for the benefit of someone in need. Blah, blah, blah...just my personal opinion. Unless it's INFEST I just really don't care.

4. do you have a favorite fitting shirt? lets hear about it.

- XXL Pro Club Tall Tee. Best fitting shirt in the world. Not overly tall, nice thick but not too thick material, every color possible and a nice thick and tight collar.

5. favorite summer activity?

- I'm gonna have to say late night pool / jacuzzi sessions.

6. tell me about a band thats new in the last 2 years, what are their selling points?

- I'm gonna tell you about a band called LONE WOLF. New EP called "Hallucinogenic Fate" out now on Words of War Records. Sounds like anger, agression and hard-pitting mixed with a hint of Crowbar. Sold?
