Heavy Metal

Testament. People NEED to hear this band if they say they like Heavy Metal Music. These guys are basically the perfect definition of what "Heavy Metal" music should sound like (IMO of course). I'm a fairly new listener of this band but since first encounter I've been hooked. If you haven't heard them before I suggest you listen to the record posted below FIRST and then once you're sold on them, celebrate their entire catalog. "The Formation of Damnation" is their newest and I feel best produced album and was even awarded the "Best Album" award at Metal Hammer's Golden Gods Awards this year beating out Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Children of Bodom and Down. So anyways, give it a try and of course BUY THE RECORD once you realize how great it truly is.

"...the whole album is a Thrash Metal diamond. The sound is also one of the album's strong points since the man who was responsible for the mixing and the engineering is the one and only Andy Sneap. This man really managed to absorb every single drop of the band's energy and put it in this album. TESTAMENT are the next in line that put one more brick in the wall for the revival of Thrash Metal. After the great new albums from EXODUS, DEATH ANGEL and TESTAMENT, as well as the rest of the active titans of Thrash Metal."

They're out on tour right now and here's their remaining dates from today on. When you hit the table to pick up some Gig Memorabilia be sure to tip my good friend Larry The Lurker who will be working the merch and most likely giving you a bad attitude.
